A Compassionate Guide on Your Journey Toward Healing

Kaleidoscope Mind Therapy was born from a simple but deep belief — that every person who I meet through this walk deserves to be seen as a whole human being, not a diagnosis or a number.

The name says everything. A kaleidoscope doesn't fix its pieces. It holds them, turns gently toward the light, and reveals something beautiful that was always there. That's the kind of experience I set out to create.

Why I Became
a Therapist

My path to becoming a therapist wasn’t a straight line, it was a gradual "one foot in front of the other" process shaped by my own story and curiosity about what helps us truly feel whole.

After walking through abuse, loss, burnout and major life transitions, I became fascinated by the mind–body connection and how compassion can transform pain and hardness into soft power.

Becoming a therapist allowed me to turn that journey into purpose, to help others slow down, understand their emotions, and reconnect with themselves in ways that feel possible.

My Therapeutic
Approach

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

For clients dealing with trauma and PTSD, EMDR can be a powerful tool for processing painful memories and reducing their emotional charge.

Internal Family Systems

Based on the idea that we're all made up of different parts. IFS helps you get curious about those parts instead of fighting them, so you can finally understand them and find peace inside yourself.

Compassion-Focused

For the people who are endlessly kind to everyone around them — and brutally hard on themselves. It helps you turn the same warmth and understanding you'd offer a good friend inward, toward yourself.

Solution-Focused

Instead of spending all our time excavating the past, we also look at what's already working, what you've already survived, and what you actually want your life to look like.

Strength Based

The resilience you've shown, the hard things you've already made it through, the parts of you that kept going even when everything felt impossible. You came in with more than you think. This approach helps you see it.

Clinical
Experience

The trust my clients place in me is something I never take for granted. Here's what some of them have shared about our work together.

"I came in a complete mess. Like, an actual disaster."

"I didn't even know where to start. Anabel didn't seem fazed by any of it. She just made me feel like the mess was okay, like maybe it even made sense given everything I'd been through. Slowly, session by session, things started to shift. I still have hard days. But now they feel like hard days, not like my whole life. Highly recommend. Ten out of ten, would fall apart in her office again."

Client., Trauma & Anxiety.

"I've done therapy before and honestly it always felt like homework I didn't want to do. Lots of worksheets, lots of frameworks, lots of feeling like I was being studied."

"Anabel was different from the first session. She actually listened. For the first time in a long time I said things out loud that I'd never said to anyone. I didn't want to leave that first session and I still don't."

Client., Depression.

"I was skeptical. After my breakup, I'd convinced myself I was too far gone."

"Anabel never once made me feel that way. She has this quiet way of reflecting things back to you that makes you see yourself differently  with a lot more kindness than you'd give yourself. I didn't come in expecting to change. But I did. It was a slow process and it was genuine.

Client., Life transitions.

A Little More About Me

When I'm not in session, you'll find me hiking local trails, reading historical fiction, at a concert, and spending time with my loved ones.
